Meet the Doctor

Dr. Carl Bilancione approaches life with a sense of passion and commitment.
Whether it is treating a patient at his Winter Park dental practice, hosting
a radio show on 740 AM, snapping professional photographs, or competing in
the 2001 CBS television series Survivor-Africa Dr. Bilancione does not settle
for anything less than his best efforts. Dr. Bilancione is also the proud
dentist of the Orlando Magic Basketball team.
“I’ve always wanted to be a dentist because I think it is one
of the few medical fields where the emphasis is placed on preventive care,” says
Dr.Bilancione. He graduated magna cum laude with his Doctor of Medical Dentistry
from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine in 1981 and served
a 3-year residency at the Naval Training Center. . He has run a successful
family dental practice since 1985.
Dr. Bilancione believes that he can best serve his clients with their overall
dental health. He has completed advanced training in oral surgery, endodonics,
periodontics, prosthodontics, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.
His continual pursuit of excellence in the dental field has garnered some
of the profession’s most coveted distinctions including induction into
the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and international honor dental society; and
mastership status within both The American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics
and The International Congress of Oral Implantology. In addition, he holds
a membership in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association,
Central District Dental Society and the Greater Orlando Dental Society. Dr.
Bilancione also serves as the official dentist for the Orlando Magic.
Complementing the array of cosmetic, reconstructive and implant dentistry
services, Dr. Bilancione provides patients with access to the state-of-the-art
CEREC system. Crowns, inlays, and onlays can be precisely crafted onsite and
installed in one visit without the use of molds or time-consuming procedures.
Diagnodent, a laser technology that measures the density of the tooth, is another
tool that can uncover tooth decay not yet detectable on standard X-rays.
Dr. Bilancione has been married for 30 years to Deborah and has two children,
Jessica and Bryan. Jessica will serve in medical field as a nurse. Bryan has
served his country by serving in the United States Army. Dr. Bilancione runs
his practice with the welfare of his patients as his main priority. “I
care about my patients and I wouldn’t recommend a procedure for them
that I wouldn’t perform on my own family members.”
